織物資料約５万点のを保存。うち戦後から昭和４０年代にかけての１万点の輸出織物サンプルには輸出の際、業者が記した原糸の種類や所要糸量、筬密度、通し幅、織り上げ・仕上がり密度など織物設計表がついている。
輸出最盛期の３０年代前半のサンプルが多く全国にも例のないデータ。サンプル検索のためファイル化の作業中。

About 50,000 textile items are preserved here. Of these, 10,000 are samples from cloth
exported beween W.W. II and 1965 with an accompanying list of the type of original thread,
amount of thread required, Seimitsudo, fabric width, weave density, finished density, and
other statistics recorded at the time of export by the traders concerned. Many samples date from 1955 to 1960, Japan's golden age of exporting,
and cannot be found elsewhere. To make finding samples easier, the filing system is
currently being changed. |
