retrieve data on the application process for patents, utility models, and design and
trademark registration. Once a month, a patent lawyer is available for consultation.
Machine tools and measuring devices are available for use.
The affiliated 'Boys' and Girls' Invention Club' holds workshops on inventing twice a
month. Established in 1962, the Kiryuu invention center is one of the two remaining in
Japan after the six nationwide centers were amalgamated. The other, the Kinki Regional
