In the collection are 50,000 tickets, including express tickets, local tickets, and
on-board tickets from every line in the country since the days of the National Railroad,
as well as Aodate ferry tickets and tickets from abolished lines in Hokkaido.
Old style ticket vending machines once used at Isesaki station, 4 person, wooden seats
from old style passenger cars, event train headmarks(?), steam locomotive and elevated
locomotive number plates, and tablets used on the Ashio line also form part of the
collection.
Mr. Kobayashi, a former employee of the National Railroad, has been accumulating
railway paraphenilia since his work days. |
